Solution
To meet these requirements, we deployed a dedicated OQLIS analytics environment directly within the client’s infrastructure. The platform was implemented using Docker containers hosted on an Ubuntu virtual machine, providing a secure, stable, and maintainable on-premise deployment architecture.
The environment was integrated directly with the client’s INX Software SQL Server database, enabling efficient extraction, transformation, and modelling of workforce and compliance data. Tailored SQL queries and custom data models were developed to support operational reporting requirements specific to the mining sector.
Interactive dashboards and reporting interfaces were designed to provide stakeholders with real-time visibility into workforce movement, compliance tracking, site readiness, and operational performance indicators. The solution enabled centralised access to critical information while reducing manual reporting overhead and improving data accessibility across operational teams.
The implementation was delivered in collaboration with the regional provider and implementation partner responsible for INX Software deployments across Africa, ensuring alignment with industry standards and mining-sector operational requirements.

The project delivered a secure, fully on-premise analytics solution capable of operating within a highly regulated mining environment without reliance on cloud infrastructure.
By consolidating workforce and compliance information into a unified reporting platform, the solution improved operational visibility, enhanced reporting efficiency, and supported faster, more informed decision-making. The deployment also established a scalable analytics foundation that can support future operational reporting and business intelligence initiatives.
